Cold, Grey

It has been a cooler-than-average spring so far, and a pretty rainy one as well. We've had a few good days, but nothing sustained in the way of good weather. Last week I got two ride days in, both chilly and grey. Bundle up and ride is the name of the game.

Spring 2020

The pandemic of Coronavirus has made these times surreal. At the end of last week though, I finally got a chance to take my Phillips out for a ride. It was a chilly day, but nothing terrible. It was good to be back on a bike, now that we're finally getting more daylight. Hopefully the weather will warm soon.

Autumn Leaves and 1958 Raleigh 4-Speed Sports

The leaves in the White Memorial Foundation land are about at peak color these days. Many of the trees turn yellow in the fall, and they all seem to turn about the same time. We had a warm, sunny day today, so a good chance for a ride. The leaves really glow in the sunlight.

 This 1958 Raleigh Sports is a great rider and a very attractive vintage bike.
