Another spring ride - chilly and windy. April is a rainy month here, and the temperature can be anywhere from 85 at the high end to 45 at the low end. This was a chilly ride - around 50 degrees, but rides at the beginning and end of the season here can bring a variety of conditions.
This ride, on April 18, falls on the anniversary of Paul Revere's famous ride to warn local militia in Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts about the approach of British soldiers looking for rebel leaders and stockpiled firearms and ammunition. So an American-made bicycle, albeit with some English parts on it, is appropriate for the day.
